In early April we hosted an Arm Balance Workshop which was a great success. All the yogis worked really hard and made progress in these tricky postures.
Due to popular demand we are running this workshop again. Those who attended last time are encouraged to come back and see how much they have progressed, and those who missed out now have the opportunity to join in.
As before we will start off working on flexibility to ensure we are open enough to try the arm balances. We then will move on to some arm strength drills which will help build the stability and strength required to hold these poses. We will then go on to give some arm balances a go, with some guidance on using props or alternative entry points.
We will try the following poses:
Prepare for a strong and fun session! You will need some yoga blocks or some chunky hardback books, and if you want to try the headstand and forearm stand then a wall would be handy!
It will be on Saturday 9th May at 2pm and the cost will be £10 (or £9 for members).
