Tamika Caston-Miller is an E-RYT 500 with a special interest in yoga for renewal and transformation. She is known for guiding a skillful combination of meditation and storytelling to help one turn inward and restore. Tamika fell in love with the healing modalities of Yin and Restorative Yoga when she was experiencing chronic pain. When adding yoga to meditation, Tamika was able to experience healing from traumatic personal loss more quickly and to train her mind to rewrite new endings to old stories that had previously held her back. A proponent of radical compassion for oneself through authentic movement and meditation, Tamika is excited to share these practices with others.

Tamika’s yoga journey began in 2001 with a home practice and she has since become an advanced certified yoga teacher with training specialising in Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. Tamika’s journey has been informed by chronic pain and injuries, the very human battle between shame and compassion, the quest for ancestral healing, and love for the practice and philosophy of yoga.
